Academic Recovery & Support is designed to assist students who are facing academic difficulty. At the end of each semester (fall, spring and summer), the Office of Academic Recovery & Support reviews the records of all the students who do not maintain a 2.0 grade point average (GPA).

Students are responsible for maintaining academic standards while studying at Old Dominion University.

A student may apply for readmission the semester following the completion of suspension period.

Undergraduate students have the opportunity to improve their grade point average by repeating a previously taken course.
